How We Unleash Potential…It’s Our Superpower!

I recently concluded collaborating with one of my executive leadership teams, and it was truly exceptional!

After this type of a strategic planning session, I feel incredible about making a difference for my clients, their teams and their enterprise. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help them level up. Feedback on the day was phenomenal with team members who’d been together for over a decade sharing that not only had they learned new things about themselves, but also about each other. And then it hit me…working with teams is OUR superpower!

As the founder, I have mindfully curated a team of professional executive coaches who are world class! All of us care deeply about making a positive difference in the world through our coaching.

When I facilitate, I help teams improve communication and create feelings of connection and belonging, to deepen psychological safety within the group. A survey from March 2024 highlighted by McKinsey found that only 26% of leaders create psychological safety for their teams. This statistic underscores that ¾ of leaders need to take more proactive efforts to cultivate an environment where team members feel respected and accepted, even when taking interpersonal risks.

From strategic planning to alignment sessions to inclusivity and diving into team health, we offer so many unique services here at Fruehling Coaching.

But how exactly do we serve teams differently?

Understanding Team Dynamics

We don’t believe in the one-size-fits-all approach. We understand that each team is unique, with its own set of growth opportunities, strengths, and goals. Our journey begins with delving into the intricacies of team dynamics. Through insightful observations, we unearth the underlying issues inhibiting peak performance. One of my certifications is the Shift+ 360. This is an interview based qualitative assessment grounded in positive psychology and allyship. The process empowers my clients and their teams to thrive through constructive, effective communication.

Tailoring Strategies for Success

Armed with a deep understanding of the team’s dynamics, our coaches curate customized coaching plans aimed at fostering collaboration, enhancing communication, and optimizing productivity. These strategies are not just theoretical concepts but actionable plans meticulously designed to address specific growth points and unlock the team’s full potential. This is our unique dynamic duo of insight paired with accountability.

Many of you know Trace as a valuable member of the Fruehling Coaching team. He’s an expert in strategic planning. Here’s his thoughts on crafting a strategy for success:

“When I work with a team to develop a plan, I bring some key commitments to the work. First, while we tend to think in a 3-5 year span, my goal is to facilitate the development of a plan that can continue to evolve and grow.

Second, many people think they are looking for a plan that is a map of their direction. I tend to think more in terms of a GPS, allowing for course correction along the way.

Finally, envisioning the future should be fun, even playful. We should delight in that which we seek to manifest. the work may be hard, but the journey should be marked by individual and shared joy.”

Embracing Diversity and Inclusion

In today’s globalized world, diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords but essential components of a thriving workplace culture. We recognize the transformative power of diversity and inclusion and integrate these principles into our coaching approach. By fostering an environment where every team member feels valued and heard, we can create a foundation for innovation and success.

In fact, our coach Sarah Halley, is DEI-certified. Sarah’s keen understanding of organizations and their people derive from a wide variety of work experiences in both the public and private sectors.

She is known for bringing creativity and presence to her work with clients, and for her understanding of organizational culture and how to strategically drive change.

But most of all, she’s an expert in Diversity and Inclusion. She recently completed a multi-year DEI and anti-racism training project at Duke Healthcare and is part of a team providing DEI training and support to the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

Sarah is also the co-founder and co-director of Playback for Change, a theater troupe that uses theater as a vehicle for social change to create organizational change in a variety of powerful ways: to surface organizational dynamics, to celebrate successes, to strengthen and clarify vision, to problem solve, and to practice new skills.

Nurturing a Culture of Continuous Improvement

The journey towards excellence is an ongoing one. We don’t offer quick fixes but work to instill a culture of continuous improvement within the teams we work with. Through ongoing support, feedback, and coaching, we empower teams to adapt to change, meet their growth opportunities, and achieve greatness.

The true measure of success lies in tangible results. Our track record speaks for itself, with countless success stories of teams that have transcended their limitations and achieved remarkable feats under their guidance.
